Not gonna lie I don’t love thrillers where there are both victim and cop perspectives. The cop is usually just a medium for plot dumping and access to resources

Gives me “Limetown” vibes (both the podcast and the Facebook series)

I find it so fascinating that Serena isn’t into marriage and the stereotypical boyfriend things. A refreshing take after consuming so many romance books

Not the biggest fan of the split perspectives, but I am a big fan of Serena dealing with being the child of immigrants because I can relate

I know it's supposed to be sex club, but I read it as sex clut

Not me reading a book about personal life goals when I’m struggling with my own personal life goals

I have questions about that slap. Did Tom hit Kate or did Kate hit Tom?

I have very mixed emotions about this book. I didn’t realize how much of mental health struggle is in it, and as someone in therapy, a lot of what Tom says makes sense to me. This is gonna be an interesting read
