Elloren is dumb

So I like how the book is grabbing multiple viewpoints at the same moment in time as these big events… but for the love of the Ancient One… Elloren is so beyond useless. She finally has a moment to truly shine… and she literally drops the “ball” (ball being used instead of what she actually does). Like literally. She makes me want her to be forcibly removed from the story. Replace her with a new protagonist

Elloren continues to be useless and continues to make selfish decisions. I need her to be killed off already. On a side note, her cousin, Or’myr, is starting to become one of my fav characters. Can we get a series around him and his powers?

Not going to lie… Part 1 had me thinking the whole time how much I did not care for all the side character stories… like can we get to the part where Elloren is actually coming into her power?

I feel like the Elloren plot is speeding by a tad bit too fast/akwardly. The Trystan piece is revving up and I’m all for it

Can already tell I’m about to be addicted 💜

Seriously… idk if I can finish this book. Keeps repeating. Nothing of substance. Truly terrible

So a couple thoughts for the series to this point: 1) why did no Elite with the Bluff ability call out Paedyn for being a liar… like… if I was a psycho king I would have one of those near me at ALL times. Not to mention I’d use them to throughly interrogate all combatants before the competition started. 2) I swear to all that is holy that this book has been the same back and forth between Kai and Paedyn -_-
