Happy reading read-a-thon-ers!

So far it’s been pretty intense, but I’m diggin it!

I know that it's probably heartless, but almost 600 pages in and I'be been feeling feelings of annoyance with Jude. Or maybe annoyed is the wrong word...Frustrated is better. Exasperated is best. The book is sorta slow, but I'm chugging along, both eager and not eager to get to the end. Based on the overall tone and feeling to the book, the ending seems inevitable, like there's only one way it can end.

I'm 1/3 of the way thru, and the misery that I've experienced so far is only going to get exponentially worse. I can just sense this looming sadness, and I'm pretty sure I know how this has to end. Heading for that inevitable conclusion, a speeding train that I can't control or stop. Here's to hoping I'm wrong!

I'm having a rough time with this one. 100 pages in and I still hardly know what's going on. I've heard that this is just how it is, but that the wait is worth waiting for so I'm holding out hope this will still blow me away. But, I'm draggin. Getting through barely a few pages at a time...& all my other to-reads on my to read shelves are looking mighty tempting

Having a hard time getting into this. I seem to be alone on this one!

So far, a little slow to start but for the most part engaging. I think after 130 pages I'm just starting to get to the good stuff!

So far it's pretty good, easy to get into, but it hasn't wowed me the way it's wowed so many others. Maybe the wow will happen later in the 2nd half :)

Very strange! I can't decide at all how I'm feeling about this book, if it's creepy in a good way or creepy in a bad way. It's definitely unique, and it's definitely creepy. That's all I can say for now. But I AM interested to see the way it plays out, Oh and I'm pretty sure I hate every character.

I am stunned that this is theeee book everyone seems to love so much. Am I the only one who thinks this girl is a vindictive, spiteful, melodramatic bratty mcbrat brat?! I keep hoping that the end is going to reveal some major betrayal that will somehow explain what all these other nitpicky, totally average teenage complaints have reeally been about. Cuz as is: I sorta hate Hannah Baker.

So far it's pretty darn good! And I'm surprised! Of course I always felt the premise sounded interesting, that's why I bought it of course, but for your every day thriller-I'm impressed! It say it's comparable to Bonfire of the Vanities in regards to style, tone, and a few other things tho Landy's writing isn't as skilled as Wolfe's, but he def has a few tricks up his sleeve and so far I'm diggin the ride!

I may have just waited WAY TOO LONG for this, I may have overhyped the whole damn thing but I'm really really sad (and hesitant) to say that so far... not good. not horrible, because Atwood could never BE horrible. But I am beginning to notice a little stem of disappointment taking route. I still have faith... fingers crossed.

Anyone else find Isabel totally selfish and self absorbed and pretty much batshit crazy? I'm sorry but I must be evil because I have no sympathy for her! She's just some bereaved psychotic and I hate her!

I spend too much time on Goodreads! I'd get much more reading done if I wasn't constantly on goodreads, finding more books to read!

I very seriously HATE reading two books at once but I am LAGGING w/outlander and am oh so tempted to pick up something else...They call to me. Uuuggghhhh.

D.G. is no Salman Rushdie that's for sure. Meaning the writing itself is not particularly amazing, but it's not bad by any means either & by page 100 I'm successfully engrossed. The time traveling has even taken place without any groans or eye rolling from me sooo... So far so good! I see the 800 pages I've left to go & wonder how in the world D.G. is going to fill up those pages with this love story but we'll see!!

I may be 1 of the minority who is turned ON by a lengthy looking book rather than OFF. I look @ a thick book and the possibilities look endless/pleasant, whereas looking at a thin book I'm always doubtful of what something so small is able to accomplish. Suffice it to say, outlander looks juicy & has appealed to me from my shelf with its thickness. Majority of the reviews are good, excited to finally dive in.

I am astonished to discover this isn't the final installment in this series! There is still one more! I would do just stop here and not read on if I hadn't invested so much time already in the others! Oh for crying out loud! And as usual I am turned off by the intensity of Clare and Jace's relationship. Perhaps it's indicative of teenage amore, but they are just kids! Give me a break! Now 2 dig in and finish **sigh**

I really wanted to like this book, and am sooo relieved that I actually do! Nick Miller is amazing, and the whole vibe of the book is just up my alley. Stoked on it so far

so far so good. I can tell it's a quick, easy read I got thru the first 80 pages in an hour. The science is not so science-y- that your average joe can't read this. Interesting, to say the least.
