How the actual fuck do you go to the Lipstick Lounge on a Sunday and not go for brunch?? (My guess is because the author probably didn't even know about the brunch. Because she doesn't mention any of the other events my local lesbian bar does, either. But she does eat some expensive cheese elsewhere.)

Perhaps I am a humorless lesbian killjoy, but I am so disappointed in this book so far.

As long as I live and however many times I reread this series, I'm never going to get over that hand-stabbing written like a sex scene. And a hate-sex scene, at that. Masterful.

Cue that Hannah Gadsby bit about quiet gays. Where are we supposed to go??

This is going to be one of those "every nonfiction book has to be a memoir now" books, isn't it?

I went from "this is a 5 star book" in the first quarter to "I want to like this more than I actually do like it" territory now, but I want to know what happens, so I persevere.

I'm liking this, but it is so repetitive.

The girl who "feared for her life everytime Mercury was in retrograde" because of astrology memes has me screaming internally.

I bet this is really good if you've read the rest of the series and don't mind copaganda.

I would probably have DNF'd this already if I weren't reading it for work.

This is my third read since 2022, and I'm either uncovering the sneakiest and most heartbreaking foreshadowing ever, or I'm giving Tamsyn Muir a lot more evil mastermind points that I should.

Okay, I'm finally starting to get into a groove with this book.

This is so well-written, but I am having an impossible time focusing on it.
