This is really sweet with the perfect amount of conflict!

I'm scared. Really scared.

This is light, easy, and a bit cliche. Good but nothing too special

Life is a bit difficult right now and I think it's affecting my opinion of this book.

There's no way. There's absolutely no way that just happened. Where can the series, let alone the book, even go from here??? What's going on????

I'm already shook to my core

This book just keeps dropping gut punch after gut punch. Also, I must be a prude. This is another book I've frequently been repulsed by the sex references. Hmmmmm

This is really gross, uncomfortable, shallow, and bad.

Finally getting back to this! Still enjoying it but it sure is a beast

This is a quiet kind of brilliance and it is as deeply captivating as it is important

I have a lot of mixed feelings. I'm greatly suspicious of her story so far, and, at this point, feel as though she has wasted an opportunity to fully explain herself. I'm interested to see where we go from here, however.

This is definitely one of those books that grows on you.

I am thankful there always seems to be more books published than nights of insomnia.

My apologies to the publisher! Just got home and realized this was waiting for me. I'll try and finish it by Sunday night and get my review up.

This is wonderfully written and a really interesting concept but it's not the most entertaining read out there.

Dad and I are enjoying this a lot! Very interesting and funny. If you're on a road trip this summer, I'd recommend this!

Alright, friends. Here we go. I got this from the library and, though I'm skeptical, the only fair way to judge and to learn is by first listening.

Finally had some time to read this weekend! It's all coming to a head I feel like!!

I'm really really enjoying this! I've been wanting to read Dave Eggers for a while.

Of course. Every time I put books on hold at the library, they all release to me at the same time lol

I have no idea what this is about so I'm a little confused. After I add things to my TbR pile I rarely remind myself what something is about before I start it. But I am enjoying this! It's not what I normally read but it's written so beautifully.

Problems so far in chapter 1
1) I'm not five and don't appreciate being spoken to as though I am
2) Hate is an interesting medium in which to prove a Christian point
3) I don't even know who this Ehrman guy is but this whole thing sounds like a Gods Not Dead issue which I am NOT into it
4) Lack of gender inclusive language

I'm working a conference for work and no one is at my table. Luckily I remembered I had bought this on my phone a few weeks ago!

Just finished part 2. This is one of those books that's really good but difficult to want to pick up.

Mike Donehey is one of my all time favorite people and I'm so excited to read this

Really not jiving with this so far.

Currently stranded on a bolt bus back to Seattle and reading this very peculiar book. Absolutely loving it.
