Sir John manipulated Letitia like a pro. This book compares Mavreen to my Queen Scarlett O'hara. We will see if Mavreen is worth the comparison. I doubt it, but surprise me, book!

In this genre you accept that most of the heroes are generally douches and cads. It comes with the territory. That being said, the two love interests of Isabella were so extra with the fragile masculinity and other things, that I was like "and men continue to be the worst™" mostly jokingly tho.

Billie is setting off my gaydar. I would be surprised (disappointed) if she wasn't. Don't spoil me, okay. lol

I'm really enjoying this one so far. I have recently started to get obsessed with the roaring 20s at least aesthetically. :D
