So far this year I've read 107 books on my shelf. I ditched 43 of those 107 books so far. OOOPS. I have a feeling when I go for re-reads I will have to be more picky hahaha.

The hero is acting like a brooding spoiled brat when he finds out the heroine was not as innocent as he assumed when they first met 3 years before, and then he found out she is a courtesan. *jerk-off motion* I am enjoying this one tho. :)

I've been wanting to re-try this one; I feel like it needs to be read as a gothic romance so allons-y. lol

Rowling is really good at showing a mirror to all the worst aspects of society as a whole.

One of our neighbors had to move quickly out leaving two boxes of books behind. We went through them, and whatever we didn't want is getting donated to the library soon. :D

This is my first Steel book. It better be trashy, or I will be severely disappointed.

I came on here because I am proud of myself for actually making good progress on the most important book goals this year: read 300+ books and getting through a good portion of my bookshelf- either putting the keepers in storage, donating/swapping, or storing the rest to give away to book buddies

DNF because I do no like how the author handled the accusatory of rape. Because women can't be raped as long as she's into rough kinky sex, amirite? Fuck you, book. Also I was finding it hard to get into.

I love how scandalous this whole book is. The kinky times, the sexy times, and the murder. It's great. She's like a more scandalous version of Scarlett. I love it.

Grim found an old cookbook that I owned years ago that went missing a few years ago. I'M SO EXCITED. I'M LIKE A PUPPY RIGHT NOW OMG. So she ordered it from Amazon. I was bitter as fuck when it went missing, but the bitterness is going away now.

His books take forever to get into. I'm still hella bored.

Currently watching the walking dead: So much more zombie action so far this season. +3 Also Carol is turning into a bad-ass. +1

I'm slowly reading my way through this one mostly because other books have higher reading priority. This is a good book tho guys.

Today I went to the library to pick up season 4 of the walking dead, and could not stop myself from borrowing a few (4) books. I have no self-control. That is why I limit my library visits.

So there is a Lestat-esque character during The Queen of the Damned era. I don't know if this is a homage or mocking yet. Either way, I'm giggling.

When she had a fall out with her mentor, I actually felt really sad. That scene was well done.

Still freaking gorey but I have my sea-legs again. Round 2 is going much better.
