A cliffhanger ending to one of the better written books in this series to date. Mr. Riggs seems to have found his "groove" with The Map of Days as exhibited by the improved plot lines, character development( although I thought he made Jacob, the MC, seem quite immature at times) and the perils all peculiars must withstand.
The introduction of a new, extremely gifted peculiar was a nice touch. Awaiting the 5 book.
