David Traver Adolphus
David Traver Adolphus is finished with Black on Black (Heyoka Blackeagle, #1)
This is actually one of the more consistent and alien depictions of am alien race I've read.

Raw, highly personal, and needing an editor, but there's clearly something worthwhile here. I wouldn't like to see it lose its edge.

Man, this is kind of tedious. Alex is entirely too worldly for a backwoods crofter who's never seen the world. I guess it's YA, but I think any kid would have gotten bored in this endless middle passage and given up by now.

Old-time sword-and-sorcery, with a modern tone. I haven’t started something this satisfying in a long, long time. I feel like I’m 12 reading Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser again.
