Perhaps the title Project Info Dump may have been more appropriate?

So far, so good, but this book has far too many different POVs.

You are sent to a potentially irradiated Earth. You may not survive for a handful of reasons. What is your primary concern? Shelter? Food? Safety? No, finding a boyfriend/girlfriend, who is single.

Potentially cool premise and story drive only by hormones. We have all been teenagers, but these folks don't act even like horny teenagers.

I really enjoyed the first section of this book. The second section was well done from an alien perspective, but hard to follow. The last section, so far, lacks context. This does not feel like a Nebula winner other than award Asimov for being Asimov.

I enjoyed the human portion of this book a lot, but I must say the alien perspective is very hard to follow and get into. Asimov has done an alien perspective well, but he did not make it compelling because, for me, it is hard to follow.

Greig Beck is not a good writer. He is better from the last book I read, but he is not a strong prose writer. What he is though is very good at writing plots from conceits that I jive on.

Overall, very good so far. Some narrative flaws/mistakes but at the same time not focusing on mundane. However, for a ghost story, so far, nothing horrific/scary has happened yet other than the horrors of Antarctic exploration.
