Not bad, but lost my oomph on this one. Need to pick it. The earlier part of the book (which, sadly, is just prologue to the real story I found a bit more interesting).

So incredibly boring its astounding. Not to mention that writing is pretty terrible. The main character, as of right now, is wholly unlikable.

Uh, so far this is pretty terrible. I know so far she's hot, but she doesn't think so. Everyone tells her she is, but she doesn't think so cause her shoulder are big from blacksmithing. Her girlfriend is really hot and is great in bed. She's a good blacksmith. 73 pages and that's been repeated a dozen times.

I am attempting to listen to this. I have heard it is a classic, but so far, the writing is pretty atrocious to the point I keep on thinking of putting it down, and I am only about 70 pages in. Its not looking good for this one.

Also, it is a homage to Aubrey/Mautrin series, but so far, not much of homage as a rip-off and why read this instead of Aubrey/Mautrin?
