Wow, Bailiff Tom's entire family has...issues, apparently.

Someone seriously needs to kick Baliff Tom to the curb. Preferably kick him all the way out of town. But if they're not going to do that, they could at least put a bell around his neck so Annabelle can hear him coming.

Word to the frugal and those who listen to audiobooks but not so much you need a monthly subscription to Audible: I just discovered that if you subscribe to Audible then cancel and stay away long enough, they start e-mailing you ridiculously good deals to get you back. Like, say, only paying 99 cents a month for a two month subscription. *laughs maniacally over beating the system and saving moey*

Good thing about blog comment sections that let me get emails for follow up comments: I don't miss anything even if I forget to check the blog. Bad thing about it: They all send me e-mails for my own comments! *facepalm* Technology. Smh.

Got this very recently from a giveaway on a certain blog (You know who you are ;) It arrived safe and sound on Friday, yay!) Excellent timing, because I would have been without a book for a day or two otherwise, since I finished my last book before I expected to. So, I'm starting it now!

I was *this close* to getting "Jane Eyre" on audiobook and listening to it, but after reading a whole bunch of reviews, both positive and negative, I just think it sounds HORRIBLY DEPRESSING! And kind of creepy. Yeah, I think that's one classic book I'm just gonna skip right over and be happy that I did. :/

I've noticed recently that my Goodreads feed keeps telling me that various authors I follow have written a new blog post, but when I click to look at them, they're actually really old blog posts, usually from a year or more ago. The dates don't even correspond. Today for example, it gave me a blog post from November last year. Anyone else seeing this?

I love how the author describes the secret garden. It sounds so beautiful and I can picture it so vividly!
