I'm very scared for many characters and the final book isn't even out until next month XD :P

This is okay so far. My main issue is that the writing sometimes is like a fiction book, but sometimes there are small bits that read a little more like non-fiction.

I won this in a giveaway. After discovering and enjoying several of Ms. Turano's books last year, I'm excited to read this!

My Grammy gave me her copy of this book, and the sequel, while she was still living. Maybe around 2017 or 2018? She was always a voracious reader and was raving about this book. I have no idea if this will be my cup of tea or not, which is honestly why it took me this long to get around to it, but at least it reminds me of her. <3

Really paying specific attention to details... The writing has this charming little lilt to it so everything is said with a smile, but then there's this underlying threat to it all. That, along with the total odd and nonsensical moments are making me not actually enjoy this reread, so I think I'm going to skim to make sure I have the descriptions I need for my Etsy collection and not force myself through every word.

I'm rereading this because this book is the theme of my Etsy collection for this year! I want to be I'm confident about which character descriptions are from the original story because if I copy Disney, I'll get sued. I FINALLY caved and got a Kindle (half off on ebay, at like-new condition, in fact), so I can read this ebook now without straining my eyeballs on my phone!

In other news: I love Coren so much.😭

AAAAAAH that ending! It was really intense and maybe a little smidgen stressful XD BUT SO GOOD! I didn't want it to be over, and now I have to wait until the next book comes out before I can get real resolution! *cries* But this book was so enjoyable on its own and there's definitely a review coming! ;)

Oh my word, things just got insaaaaaane! In a good way for my entertainment as the reader, not so much for poor Urban. :p I'm getting nervous for her!(I say as if I haven't been nervous for her the entire book XD) Hope she's gonna get out of this okay! 😬

Characters falling off buildings is somewhat stressful. XD

This book is a master class in carrying tension throughout!

Only 4% left in the book and I'm so ready to be done with it.

*Sigh* I'm still not really into this, but I still have time on my library loan, so I guess I'm going to finish. I'm only bothering because it's on audio though. If it was a physical copy I'd have quit a long time ago,
