Normally, I love Marguerite Gavin’s reading of these books. That said, I do not understand, or like, that she gave the Brits in “Tempson Estates” a southern US accent. It’s just wrong, and detracts from the story.

Why do cozy mystery writers always write the clues and bad guys so clearly that they might as well be flashing neon signs, then make their main characters too blind or stupid to see them?!?
