I thought Kerr had beautiful, elegant prose in the first book of this series, but even this early on in book two, I can see just how much she had improved! Its taking me a minute to get my head back in this story and world, but her characters have an infectious energy I enjoy reading, and the world is so intriguing. Fantasy bursting with genuine flavour, this is a treat!

This is shaping up to be another 5 star King read!

This is already gripping! Short chapters, swift prose, fast pace...you can see King playing with his formula.

The Running Man is chilling.

This book is achingly tense. Like I just want everything to turn around for these characters. Its so bleak and dark in tone, and utterly captivating.

Cujo is not what I expected. A fantastic, ever so slightly supernatural, exploration of fear, stress, aging, and then there just happens to be a rabid dog.

Just exquisite storytelling!

This book is the best King I have read since The Stand! I love it so much!

There are horror writers who write good scares, and that's all you enjoy them for.

Somehow, King at his best writes literary brilliance out of concepts that could easily just have been cheap thrills and two thirds shorter in length.

So far, this book is typical King, which is equal to saying its fantastic and just what I hoped for!

Im already devastated for poor Cujo! ICKLE DOGGY IS NOT BAD, HE IS SICK
