- As vrea sa stiu cum esti alcatuit pe dinlauntru…Cum e vointa ta pe dinlauntru, ce anume exista in acea parte a fiintei tale pe care tu nu socotesti c-o simti.

- E ceva foarte feminin… Ceva din materia lucrurilor ireale!

- Oare ce iubesti mai mult — il iubesti pe el, sau iubirea ta?

- El este iubirea mea… El si iubirea mea sunt acelasi lucru… In mine nu exista nicio diferenta…

The view was magnificent,& from where I stood there was every opportunity of seeing it.The castle is on the very edge of a terrific precipice.A stone falling from the window would fall a 1000 feet without touching anything!As far as the eye can reach is a sea of green tree tops,with occasionally a deep rift where there is a chasm.Here &there are silver threads where the rivers wind in deep gorges through the forests

I had no doubt that Liza still loved the prince and would do so for a long time, but as a man both self-abasing and abased by circumstances, I did not even dream of her love: all I desired was her friendship.
