I am finding it difficult to continue the book, because its like Evie is hell bound on taking a difficult path purely because she wants to, and she does not think of the supposed repercussions, or the next step.. and while everyone else is trying, and nearly dying, and some actually dying to keep it all together, she wants her way or the high way. It borderline feels disrespectful to the others.

Absolutely in love with the characters and the world building. The inclusivity showcased by the author is so natural, and the use of certain aspects of magic just 🤌🏼.
