A very verbose Victorian sort of love story. There’s so many characters, but I honestly felt in an effort to create a mood in the book it ended up just becoming really long winded.
I was hoping that this part of the story would change over time, but as more and more characters were introduced - I kept wondering why I should care for them. (Still trying to find that out and I’ve nearly finished the book :( )
