I'm going to have to re-shelve this one as 'want to read' for a while, I guess. Having trouble staying focused on the story because I keep thinking about other books I want to read. Can't review it if I can't give it proper attention, so this one is going to have to wait a little longer.

Struggling a bit to get into this, which is frustrating since I loved the first book so much. Could be a mood thing... I've been on a psychological thriller kick lately, so that might have something to do with it.

Hmm. Based on the blurb, I expected the point of view to be that of the niece. Instead (with the exception of the brief prologue), the story has been told entirely from the aunt's perspective.

That's not a bad thing (or even a complaint). It was just something that surprised me.
