Nearing the end. Still almost clueless.. :( but only playing around her mother attitude.

Almost nearing the end of the novel, but still I see Camille struggling to complete the report & almost Richard, the detective is completely clueless.... But she encounters strange experiences with her step-sis Amma' & her Mom.

Almost nearing halfway...but still I camille slowly wandering around WindGap town, trying to collect some information which will help her to write a good report.
I can c d author's intention of building up the momentum here...its working...atleast 4 me.. :)

Camille, in a bid to add more info to her report which she needs to submit to her boss, Curry, is trying to find some clues herself as the assigned detective, Richard, hasnt made much progress after he was assigned this case. She goes around the town meeting the people and trying to uncover anything that give a clue about the disappearance. She also meets up with Richard.....little slow going read, but will get thru.

Search for the missing girl begins....but Camille is almost going around like a detective collecting clues....getting interesting with each chapter...

Camille visits her hometown to write a story on the missing girl.........

will finish it off tonight....

Never before have a read a novel where the suspect confesses to the crime so early.... but having said that Osamu doesn't reveal the motive behind his action, so Kaga is again challenged to find it on his own.
So far...nice read....

Missing Galileo here...but hope kaga is also cool like him...

With no clear plan to kill smaug, they just for him inside the mountain in a safe place. Meanwhile smaug gets busy destroying the dale/ lake town, but Bard slays the Smaug down when he comes to know of the weak spot on the smaug's breast through the bird Slush, which overhears this info from dwarfs in the mountain. After the slaying of smaug, all the folks rush to mountain to get a share of the wealth.

With the king of dale, they recharge and take rest for couple of weeks & start for the mountains for the final battle with Smaug.
They manage to find the secret door, thanks to Bilbo again, & he helps to visit what smaug is doing a couple of times until he is found out and the dragon finds out that dwarfs have reached the mountain and are after the gold. But they manage to reach another doorway whn dragon is away.

They escape the spiders with the help of the burglar, who uses the ring effectively & sings songs to tease the spiders.
They end up in the wood-elves prison but are well taken care of with food & water.
Again the bilbo helps them to escape with the barrels and they end up in the village which looks up the great mountain, the place which they planned of reaching when they started out from the shire..

They escape the Goblins & wolves with the help of The eagles and reach the great home of Beorn.
Gandalf smartly ensures that he doesn't crowd his home and slowly invites the dwarfs one by one to safety.
After taking rest & recharging ponies & food supply, they continue their journey into deep dark forest after parting with Beorn & Gandalf.....where they encounter the spiders.

Bilbo & the dwarfs along with Gandalf escape the Mountain where they encounter the Goblins seperately.
The goblin chief is slayed.
Meanwhile Bilbo smartly follows Gollum while being invisible & gets out of the (or jumps out :) mountain exit door.
The burglar gains some respect after his delayed appearance escaping all the goblins.
But while they walk through the forests, they encounter the Wolves & climb d trees.

Bilbo gets hold of the ring and escapes from the crazy & angry Gollum' & finds that he is invisible........the burglar show is on...

The 13 Dwarfs plus the hobbit (and occasionally Gandalf too...) reach the place where Trolls are having their dinner..

Revisting this classic...need to finish this off before's friday's Hobbit III premiere......just a revision of my memory of the plots, scenes & characters.....

Starting with a little SciFi in between the thrillers........

Coming to the end..... Gabe is closing in on the suspected cabin...
Planning to complete it today.
Will post review after completion tonight.

The story is is taking a complete u-turn, not what it actually seemed to be... just guessing...maybe Colin might turn out to be a hero.......

atlast some clues for the detective....getting interesting now...want 2 finish it off this weekend...

A very interesting narration... never read a book with so many characters narrating simultaneously.....Very interesting to read.... a real page turner.

Real very good narration, although simultaneously narrated by different characters, still I am able to follow the plot clearly..and also keeps me interested.
