Things have gotten a lot darker than I was anticipating.

My first booktube-a-thon read is going better than expected.

I've been so preoccupied with actually reading this that I got so far in before doing an update.

I'm not as invested in Molly as a character as I was Reena (How to Love). Maybe it's the fact that she's so aggravatingly indecisive or that she seems think that she's deserving of the horrible treatment she's getting. Come to think of it, Reena didn't really have a backbone either but she was selfless which made up for it.

I'd like to reserve judgement until I've learned more about him (Patrick) but I swear if I have to read about one more jerky bad boy love interest I might just lose it. That is only a slight hyperbole.

I managed to get through a third of this in between half hour speed naps on the drive back from the airport. I feel pretty accomplished.

I just got off a 12 hour flight and have been reunited with my devices. So of course the natural progression of events is picking up an audiobook (not sleeping, never sleeping).

I keep falling asleep as I try to read this even though I am 100% not bored and 100% not tired.

The funny still hasn't worn off.

This is much funnier than I expected it to be.

I'm still feeling the same way about the characters, plot, and writing. Which is to say: slightly offended and highly entertained.

Bianca is contradiction city, but oh so entertaining

This is one of the most atmospheric things I've ever read.

Completely guessing on that page count but I am about to start the 5th short story: The Nesting Place.

It still feels really weird to be reading only one thing at a time.

This is drawing so many parallels to the Jonestown massacres for me. I'm feeling pretty meh about the characters and plot but the word building is solid.
