I really need to start reading more capital "R" Romances!

Everything in the town Night Vale is strange and creepy and King City is much the same, however it still managers to come across as more unsettling and horrific

I just read, one after the other, the worst (like emotionally upsetting not badly written) chapter and the best chapter of the book so far. This book is supremely well written!

So so far so good! I tried reading this in middle school I think and had no idea what was happening, this time around it’s way more understandable. Not too much has happened yet but the weird ghost dream was exciting

I think it's mostly because I have no time to read and I'm getting through this book really slowly but the plot itself seems slow

So I got into this book because of the podcast. I find the podcast engaging and hilarious. This book can certainly be funny but I find it much more eerie and haunting than the podcast. Not necessarily a bad thing but just saying

I finally got myself to start the podcast in the past few months and fell in love instantly! Almost as soon as I found out there was a book version, I had to get my hands on it. Can't wait to read this

This is so cute already! I identify immensely with the chapter at his parents place and the social awkwardness

While this will probably always be a real classic, the anti-Semitism really shows the social changes since the publishing of this book

I'm really enjoying this one! The plot is super intriguing

It's definitely not easy reading Chaucer but the stories within the frame of the pilgramage are actually reallu intriging and the pilgrams themselves are pretty funny!

I've always heard good things about Macbeth and of course its one of the most well-known Shakespeare plays. SO glad I'm finally getting around to reading it! I'm liking Lady Macbeth, thus far. She's a strong woman

Of course in a book where a kid has grown up enraptured by a book series akin to Harry Potter and Narnia the magic he discovers is horribly tedious

I'm only 9 pages in and I've already laughed several times. This is a funny book!

I really thought the reading of the will would go down with a lot more interesting events, definitely a surprise or two. That was actually disappointing
