Ch.10 Amelia - So, I'm not mad because this is better than I expected, but I did have to regroup to enjoy it. I got several new books today and I'm trying to stick with it but it's hard. The story is fun and predictable, but Lisa Unger and Shelley Shepard Gray are calling my name. I'm just going to take a peak and be right back.

Page 12 of 309 Ch.2 Noah - I was expecting MC to hop on a plane but it turns out this book is not set in Italy but Kentucky. This is what I get for not reading blurbs. I'm going to have to take a break to reset my travel plans and fully enjoy the humor.

Ch. 17 - I'm officially confused about the rules of wishcrafting and a little bored. I should be wrapping this up tonight because I have 2 more books after this one, but I'm going to watch Cedar Cove and start a new book. It's like the MC got a lobotomy since the last book.

The Promise - I should have seen this coming.

Caroline - Well, this story seems to be the highlight of my week. I would watch a series based on this. It's very good, I think more YA than middle grade.

Page 70 of 370 The Betrayal - This story is great, I think may read all of the books after all. I usually prefer by publication date, but chronological order works well for this series.

Page 107 of 307 Ch. 12 - This isn't my favorite. It's easy to read, but not much is going on, or maybe there's so much it seems like slow motion. I don't know, but I had to Google "agate," and it didn't help much. Is it a rock or a gem?

5:50:48 Ch. 30 - Ugh! These people are on my nerves, just bland and dramatic.

50:03 Ch 6: Number One - I was not expecting this plot. I'm going to have to revisit this one tomorrow.

4:43:50 Ch. 25 - I've come too far to turn around. This is a drama, not my thing but I'm going to see it out. Hopefully, it goes somewhere decent. At the moment I'm not a fan of the plot or characters, but there's some promise. It's like a Hilderbrand without pep or excitement.

10:43:31 Ch. 42 - I'm officially bored and I think this is supposed to be the exciting portion of the story. I'm going to watch a show and hopefully renew some interest. I've spent too much time with this book already. I can't do 5 days, I need to end it today.

7:42:59 Ch. 23 - This is turning into an assigned read.

7:35:43 Ch. 22 - I'm hoping this is it.

4:58:23 Ch. 16 - As usual, she's playing the long game. I'm going to bed. I wish I could stay up all night with this one but I know they aren't even close to getting it together, so I can wait till tomorrow.

5:50:49 Ch. 17 - I'm done for the day.

1:36:54 Ch. 10 - I was confused about the timeline. It's pretty choppy and I'm bored but invested.

4:51:06 Ch. 14 - Okay, this just isn't my taste. I foresee 3-stars so far, I'm gonna finish the book but I definitely need other books to get me through this.

2:35:51 Ch. 6 - I think this is supposed to be funny, but I just find it slow-going and old-fashioned.

6:02:16 Ch. 30 - Now that I have the full plot this may be my new least favorite. I'm going to bed, I'll finish this tomorrow.

4:19:11 Ch. 21 - I'm taking a break, one with another book. I had to remind myself a few times that this book is set in 2005, I'm still not all in yet. It's interesting so I'm only hoping that the second half of it gets more exciting period I was not expecting the Iraqi War in the background, not really interested in that time period. I had to live through it and now I'm back there via this book.

1:39:24 Ch. 7 - I was expecting this to be a single-sitting or all-day read but I think it might even take me tomorrow because it is slow-moving. The beginning reminded me of The Chamber and The Rooster Bar, maybe this is a mini Easter Egg book, Rogue Lawyer too, with no mentions of characters just similar scenes and settings. I am trying to wrap my head around how Mitch went from a tax lawyer to a death row lawyer

Page 88 of 386 Ch. 24 - It's a bit slow for me and I don't think the MC is funny but she thinks she's funny.

Task 2 Kitchen Patrol - This book is great! As a mom who has had her children working since they could walk, one-year-olds can do a lot, I was still relating and I loved the jar idea. Our kids earn commissions but since the money started getting automatically transferred to their accounts I think something was lost. So I'm going to try the jar system. I totally relate to stepping in because it's easier sometimes. I'

A Christmas Do-Over by Sheila Roberts - This story was okay. I don't know why every Sheila Roberts book I read had a nightmare scene but this one was no exception. This story was like an AA member making amends. I'm going to rest my eyes and go to bed. I'm hoping the other stories are more upbeat. Page 99 of 321

7:09:42 Ch. 22 - I'm loving it, only stopping to catch up on shows with my husband.

4:42:56 Ch. 14 - It's good but has a moderate pace and the characters are chatty. Almost 15 chapters in and were still in March. It's a slow cooker on the romance scale.

Ch. 15 - There's so much to unload that I'll save for later. I am taking a break this close to the end because this book is a little on my nerves and I want to spend time with my son. They spend so much time retelling the last 11 books that I need a break from that.

Ch. 9 - I'm a little disappointed he talked about kelp but did not mention kelp pickles as a yes or no item. I have a nice list of foods to eat so I won't complain too much.

Page 47 of 283 Ch. 3 - I was going to read this all today but this is so good it could be the treat I need to motivate me to finish my other books. I love it so far and I'm wondering if I should reread Rose Harbor for all of the Easter Eggs from Cedar Cove. I knew they were Cedar Cove people but I didn't know them before. I think I came across Jolene and Poppy in Rose Harbor but I'm not sure.
