Watched a video about how we vilified Stephenie Meyer and teen girls that got me and a friend talking about Twilight.

Which lead to us talking about how movie one sucks.

Which lead to me watching The Host, which is also my favorite book by her.

Which lead to me crying as I always do when I watch it. Don't judge. Just go watch it too so we can talk about it.

Polaire and Althy are adorable little mothering hens. They're two bright spots that were needed in this book.

YUP. This is a knockoff of memoirs of a geisha with magic.

Allllllllll she's doing is complaining and whining. And now I'm complaining and whining here because I'm not sure I'll be able to finish the first book.

Fingers crossed nobody spoils Iron Gold for me in the next week while I can't read it.

It sounds like she's basically describing the apprentices as Geisha... it's weird.

My goal before years end was to ensure all 160 some odd books I'd read had reviews. I got a third of the way through and have decided it ain't happening. I'm old (not really, I'm 26) and tired. It's my goal then to do better going forward.

Do I care that I won't have reviews for a 100 of my books? Yes. But there's already 500 without reviews so whatever.

So Amazon messed up both of my Christmas orders and to compensate me they fixed the mistake, upgraded my shipping, and gave me two refunds. Color. Me. Impressed.
