In a time when the candidate later given the Republican nomination retweets a Mussolini quote from @ilduce2016, and when it is explained to him what he has done he doesn't try to distance himself from the words of a fascist dictator, we should be wary.

Here's a precursor of something in our recent past - "Remember our war hysteria, when we called sauerkraut 'Liberty cabbage'...?" p28. I seem to recall 'Freedom Fries' a decade ago in Congressional cafeterias when France opposed the proposed invasion of Iraq.

I'm only 30 pages in at this point, but I keep asking myself "Why haven't I read this before?". I was aware of the satire and what it warns of, but I suppose I didn't think things would get to this point.
