Book was good, I read Ellroy’s character Fitz Brown in the voice of ol’ Bob Mitchum. Minor complaints: the bizarre and constant referencing of classical music, and like the last book I read(for whom the bell tolls) , the character’s relationships with women read very much like fiction, as in totally unbelievable. Still lot’s of the book reminded me of a combo hammit, chandler, & Spillane
