So she pulls out the oldest most dustiest wine bottle she can find and it’s from 1996?! That makes me feel so old!! I thought she was going to pull out a 1960s bottle not something from the 90s! 😩

I’m loving this book so far. It’s giving bourgeois. I like Sophie minus the body dysmorphia. The introduction of the characters and their flaws is right up my alley for a good mystery.

The prologue has already drawn me in!

I remember visiting both San Francisco & Oakland. SF & Oakland were polar opposite’s. When I did see a black person in SF they always spoke & said how nice it was to see someone tht looked like them & told me the hx of how most blacks were moved out to Oakland.
