This book amuses me in such a good way at some parts, it's a feast

Idk why but I think Sevraim has stolen my heart!

In a surprising turn of events I had a difficult time getting into the book. my mind was unable to disconnect from the actual source material, but it's slowly getting better.

omg I'm so mad that it's only starting to pick up now—like, giirrlll where were some of these dynamics??? And why does it feel as if the characters now are so different from what they were in the first 300 pages????

Idk y'all. I'm 300 pages in and wonder where some of the advertised topics/themes are?? Will they ever show up??? Romance is barely noticeable (romance bad wbk) and I fear for the blandest "enemies to lovers" trope, if I see something like that at all. I am struggling in case you haven't noticed. I hope it can save itself in the next 500 pages. I believe in you.

The Game of Thrones roast was legendary

The sex scene was underwhelming and I feared we were going downhill but the twists are hitting and they have my full attention now.

People in reviews are saying the 2nd half is where the disgusting things are... I am excited.
