Aida
Aida is on page 126 of 445 of Eat, Pray, Love. One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia
"Across a broad continent of a woman's life fall the shadow of a sword. One side of the sword, lies convention where "all is correct". But on the other side of the sword, if you're crazy enough to cross it and choose a life that does not follow convention, "all is confusion. Nothing follows a regular course."

Rabiatul Adawiyah: Perindu Cinta Abadi

Aida
Aida is starting Rabiatul Adawiyah: Perindu Cinta Abadi
This will be next after I finished Love in the time of Cholera.

Rabia al-Adawiyyah is well known in Islamic history as Rabiah Basri was born in 714 A.C. in the city of Basra, Iraq. She was born in a very poor home and was stolen as a child and sold into slavery. Her piety and her sanctity secured her freedom and she retired to a life devoted to prayer and meditation. I will share more once I read more!
