I’m a bit underwhelmed. Perhaps it’s because I went into expecting to be the intended audience, but I don’t think I am. The concepts are not challenging me how I expected them to.

This is something I want to research more. Globally how our ancestors viewed inequality and how we currently work to combat it. What are the parallels? Are we at a tipping point? Although we cannot go backwards, what can we do to learn from them.

I normally say the world is trash and that’s why I read romance, but today it’s why I’m reading this book. Humans aren’t all that bad.

Current take away: ask women and girls questions and take data. Stop grouping men of color and women of color together in data collection
