I'm starting to feel like Alona and Killian are more alike than different. Also, trying not to ship humans with ghosts is hard.

Well, I thought she'd saved him from the gaggle of ghosts but then the creepy thing happened and now idk what's going on.

I'm not so sure I love Alona but I can't say I really dislike her either... I feel bad for Killian though. He doesn't deserve all the crap he gets from the principal.

My sister told me to read this years ago so here goes nothing.

Honestly, I get her silent protest but I don't understand why she had to steal the device from Henri. Couldn't she have tried talking just that once? Henri is a good guy who for reasons unknown genuinely likes her. Messing with him like this is just wrong.

Omg you guys, it's starting to get so real.

I really have no idea how I feel about this story. It feels like so much and not enough has happened all at once.

The whole concept of this novel is both amazing and terrifying all at once. Admittedly the book is a bit slow going right now but I'm definitely intrigued.

Just when I was starting to lose interest they pull me back in. I need to know what happens next and if someone dies. It's a 3 against 1 sword fight, someone has to die. Right?

Am I the only one starting to wonder if this map actually exists?

Is it weird that I'm not as into them as a couple as I thought I'd be?

Her father sounds like a horrible person.

She can't seem to get caught properly. I kind of like that. Don't like that she got caught by Sheck of all people though. He really, really creeps me out.

I keep thinking she's going to get caught. Sure, she's the daughter of the pirate king but she's also on a new ship late at night. She's bound to do something stupid.

Also, sidenote, I have to say the fact that her real crew is mostly compromised of women makes me happy.

I went into this knowing only that she was the daughter of the pirate king and now that I'm done with chapter 1 I have to say I'm hooked. Her getting kidnapped was part of the plan all along? Omg!

Oh my God that end! It was perfection! This book was seriously so sweet and memorable despite being so short.

Ugh this book is just so sweet and nice. I ship her and Gabe sooo bad and secretly wish I could do that sort of things with friends.

This shory story is seriously making me want to watch Star Wars.

It's weird but I actually enjoy that the Almost Midnight is told with just one day each year. I still feel like I know her somehow. Also the illustrations are adorable.

She's in Alabama now. Hopefully this is where the action starts.

Slow going but still super enjoyable. Tbh I'm glad the plot is finally progressing. Seemed like he spent a good portion of the book thinking he was delusional.
