And I finally managed to get threw another Catelyn Stark pov. I swear her povs are the main reason it's taken me over three years to read this book.

The level of shame I feel for taking so long of a break from reading this book knows no bounds. Now that that's out of the way though, oh my goodness! This plot though!!! I'm not even halfway through the book and I need to know more! Tell me what's going on please dear book. I need to know all the things.

If I ever get a chance to visit a town called hell... I'm gonna take a hard pass. Seriously, does everyone in this book have to be so creepy?

This book is good at being creepy.

We're getting so close to the climax! Her dad's there so obviously there's going to be an epic and deadly faceoff. Just hoping it's the bad guys that die.

Is it wrong that I want them to understand each other?

There's no better feeling than progress being made. I've got to say I'm finally getting more into the story. Before there was a bit of a slow trickle plot wise. I wasn't quite sure how the world worked or where the story was going but now everything is progressing at a faster pace and I have been swept in. It doesn't hurt that the narrator of the audiobook is amazing.

So a lot just happened and I honestly didn't see it coming in the exact way it did. Got to hand the author credit there, she can make somewhat predictable tropes fairly unpredictable.

Well, that took an interesting turn. Sn: Did not expect her to have named her ship after her mother. Also, I didn't expect her mother to be the... well, the sort of plot twist.

Little bit more progress being made here. I love the show of magic that happened. The imagery alone was gorgeous.

Well, that was action packed. Also, do I detect a bit of a future romance between enemies?

It feels so weird/good to be reading YA again. I think I chose a wonderful world to come back home to though. The characters are just so good.

I'm really liking this 2nd story a lot more than the first.
