So sad. I really believed that Tyler was gonna get out of that town, but his friend had to snap and keep on harassing the town witch making the curse worse for everyone.

The most haunting thing about this story is a dog death. Its so creepy so far I mean its the only death in the book so far is tied to the wit h but the author is really making it count.

I like how this is different and fresh. Finally a newer horror author writing to the beat of his own drum and not trying to so desperately to copy Stephen King.

As annoying as bratty teens can be in books, I have to side with the kids here. Their parents are trapped, cursed to live in this town forever haunted by a witch. So why have kids? So they can be cursed as well? It seems selfish and cruel.

A witch roams the streets. Everyone in the town is cursed. But everyone just accepts it and goes on with life. I really like this approach for a horror novel.

I'm gonna be honest. This book is purposely obtuse here in the beginning. I'm struggling with what's going on. But I hope all these seemingly random bits in pieces make more sense soon.

Never seen Pa written as Paw before in a book. Assuming that this is a creative choice reflecting the kid's silliness at such as young age.

Gotta have religious crazies in the apocalyu. Seems like a must have for any of these tales.

More than half way thru and there's no real sense that the story is going anywhere. Its entertaining enough, but I'm beginning to wonder what the point os.

After The Girl with All The Gifts, I thought this might be spooky. But its just YA so far Very good YA. Just not what I was expecting

Apocalypse, children, and humanity being destroyed by nature. Kinda seems to be a theme with this author. I'm not really complaining but the parallels are huge between this and her previous books.

The first tale seemed pretty basic and kinda meh, but by the end it had had enough heart to it and a nice twist to make worth the while. Curious about how the other stories will shape up.

I like how this puzzle is really coming together. Great story so far.

Readings been so slow lately. Usually read until I fall asleep at night but I've been so tired lately.

Wow. Its a colony of all men and they are all super horny hoping the company will send them a woman after decade of isolation. That's one way to start a story. Its weird but I can't get mad, bc its realistic that this sort of environment can break anyone's sanity.

Wow. Ghouls are nasty little troublemakers aren't they.
