So alien life comes to Earth, they step out of their spaceship and immediately demand cocaine. Okay. That is hilarious. Lol. They crossed the galaxy for drugs. I freaking love the II insanity of it! 😄

I'm really growing to lime Thorne. I did not expect that this frat boy like character would become a crucial and likable character.

Ok the climax for this Wolf Scarlett story is pretty Dan good. Such a shame the build up wasn't all the strong.

Bc as a child she was in a decade of a coma like state bc of horrific injuries and trauma. Her care takers installed tech in her head to funnel in and create fake memories so it would seem like she had a childhood and wouldn't be too messed up when she wakes up. That is just heartbreaking.

So Scarlet's story shifted from a YA romance to a espionage tale. Well I didn't see that coming. With all the crazy so far, I expected something more fantastical. But its better than what Scarlett's tale been providing so far.

Adri is just the worst.

Half way thru and I still waiting for Scarlet's story to pick up. Now at this point I think its just going to be YA drama as she's an occasional damsel in distress. Thank Cinder is around in this book. Her chapters are still pretty fun.

With red riding hoods sci-fi reimagining I thought it would be more action based or spooky or something. I dunno about this route they took for this book. I won't judge until the end though. There might be a payoff in the end somehow.

There has to be a twist with Wolf. I mean the last book insinuated there were beastly soldiers in the moon queens army. I assumed these were the reimaginings of the big bad wolf. But in this book there's a gang of thugs called the wolves. I hope its more than a gang. That would be really disappointing if the author did not stretch her imagination here.

Its the far away future, but then a character turns on a tv to watch a version of The View. I guess some things will never change.

The last book dealt with a plague and a crazy moon lady who wants to take over the earth. This features a red head on a farm trying to get her grandmother back from some thugs. Its a lot tamer than I expected. But there's still time for the book spice things up though.

These beast like soldiers are going to turn into actual wolves right? It looks like the direction this story is going in. I'm mean it fits in with world and beastly creatures already discovered on the moon. Wow. I sound like a crazy person now. Ending the comments now.

These books are just fun. Exactly what I need right now.

I know Fetch is damaged and broken, so he's obviously is not thinking straight a lot of the time. But holy wow! It really did take a long time to realize his long lost friend / father figure may be nuts. He was missing a lot real big red flags along the way. But at least he did wake up finally.

Well this book just took a bunch twists and turns. I have no clue idea where its going now.

Wow. Fetch has so much baggage and skeletons in the closet, its amazing that he isn't dead yet. Everyone gates him.

Wow. Fetch is not all that smart is he? I know he's lonely and broken and all. But he should have expected this.

I find it so fascinating that this is a run of the mill murder done with a gun, but because Fetch grew up in magical city as the only human, human tech is new and foreign to him.

So since magic went away, uniforms became horses with crystalline tumors growing out of their head and are raving mad. Congratulations book. U some how made unicorns terrifying. And I applaud u for it.

Holy crap! If Fetch keeps drinking at this rate, he might die of alcoholic poisoning before the book is thru.

Oh wow! Fetch does not know as what a car or gun is. I guess that happens when a human grows up among magical creatures.

So detective Fetch is trying to apprehend this wizard and they are in a full on brawl. The wizard clumsily casts a spell and the author describes it by saying, "His crotch exploded." One of the most distracting lines in literature history. Why would it be described this way? It gives the brain some bizarre mental images that goes against the very serious tone of the fight scene. Also its unintentionally funny.

Getting straight to the murders. I'm liking it. 🙂

So that is where unicorns come from? I like this book's explanation.

Where's the ending? I turn the page and author begins to thank the readers for buying novel. The stakes are high and there were twenty pages left. It can't just cut off like this.
