Now things are really moving.

Now past the “Πολλὰ τὰ δεινὰ” song, which has got to be an unrelated text that was merely repurposed for this play.

Enjoying this first dive into Greek drama so far, but in a text with commentary like "This single period contains five enjambments, anaphora, alliteration, and strained word order", much slower going than the Greek prose I was used to reading.

Though this novel is set in Berlin of the late 1920s, to my mind it anticipates the French Nouvelle Vague, and I do wonder whether Godard had read this before shooting, among other films, Vivre sa vie.
