Great prose and good pacing so far, inherently interesting main character

A lot of telling over showing so there's really no stream of consciousness. Idk Kim just states what Ji-won is feeling instead of using physical reactions instead or just having her THINK like a normal person. So disappointed in this book

Last chapter. Trying not to hate Tiffany for this as much as I did but you basically wrote 80% coming of age 20% superhero story with no impressive blending of the two and I am so beyond disappointed

This line makes me wonder if this was completely ghost written or something bc why is the most iconic black female superhero turning bright red in any capacity? Ghostwriter or not Tiffany Danelle Jackson, I curse you to the end of your days for this mess

I've been a fan of Jackson since Monday's not coming, and I've known her writing is very simple all that time, but I will never forgive her for making Storm so painfully lame and not like other girls all bc of her hair, very cheap interpretation of this character
