Woot! Page 37 and the author is finally getting into some details I'm not already familiar with, specifically the Bohemian glass bead-making industry in the 19th and early 20th Century.

Just finished the introduction and I hope the author dials it down a bit. He's definitely... umm,,, enthusiastic. But there's a lot of not 100% accurate generalizations and sensationalism so far. On the other hand, I've seen some pretty dry, scholarly books that an author staple-gunned a action-movie trailer introduction to. So, we'll see...
