These stupid characters are annoying, but I’m curious where the story is going….

Carlotta and Coop on a road trip with her brother tagging along. This books seems better than the last two, so we’ll see if she and Coop find some alone time to “hook up”. I can’t believe Wesley hasn’t gotten himself killed.

Good start, so far. Clue references and Easter eggs scattered in the story are appreciated.

I'm struggling with the voice narration of this story. The story is okay, but the tone of voices, especially the male figures, is really testing my patience. Maybe it's just me, but I'm reminded of a spoiled brat going through some rough patches, and I just want the person to talk normal, instead of the voice of a whiney brat....

This is a beautifully written book, I'll be sad when it's over.

I haven’t read the first book, so I’m a touch behind with the story and some of the characters. I do like the young adult drama of these 17 year olds at a private school in Maine. Two dead bodies and a mystery to solve, so far, so good!

Funny book, so far.
Her stories take me back to those awkward teenage years at summer camp outs with other Boy Scouts, or youth groups in my church…..

This is moving too slow for me. Some characters are too polite, and explaining everyone’s mannerisms is slowing down the story to a slog. I’m losing my patience…
6 chapters in, and I hope I can make it through to see how it ends.

2 hours into this and the narrator’s voice is so good at setting the mood and tone. I’m blown away.

The story is starting to lag. I’m hoping for some more action. It was really exciting 65 pages ago.
