barely started and it’s already way too real oh god

this only solidifies my belief that humans are utterly undeserving of the world. to dream up such horrors is inconceivable, and to know they are based on events that happened within the last two hundred years is more than numbing.

rin is vicious and just getting started. love her already.

finished my fall semester so now I can read a few books before shit gets crazy again <3

it feels good to be reading again; sorry to Kafka but I’m afraid he’s been put on pause for the time being. i was told going into this last stretch of TVC it would be more like the first few books and fortunately for me that’s true.

literally have not read it in days have been so stressed and busy with exams but looking forward to Gregor samsa still being a bug when i return shortly

the “original” ending of The Vampire Chronicles, but several years later towards the end of her life, she wrote three more and therefore there is a more recent ending to the series as well.

after I read this I’m putting the last three on the backburner til I’m on break and switching back to philosophy & classics for the rest of the semester <3
