I’m kinda mad that the author had to manifest a dead lover for the MMC that I don’t think was EVER mentioned in book 1????? Like, it’s a really overused concept…. Almost EVERY fantasy MMC has a dead lover, that they adored, etc. and are forever traumatised from losing them

On day 1, i was thinking that 9 days in a place where the nearest GOOD bookstore is 2 hours away would be “OK”… it’s not.

There’s not even enough internet to download Reckless (Lauren Roberts) on Kindle. I cannot even.

I love how Roman remembers Iris as soon as he touches her — I don’t think I could have handled a slow-burn(ish) remembering (I have no clue what I was trying to say).

It’s not as good as the first book, but the vibes are there!

I have so many highlights in this book…. I JUST got my first Kindle, so I’m determined to make it my own by making needless comments :/

Just spent the last 20 mins going thru ONE BOOK’S worth of notes and choosing the ones I wanted to keep…. So now I only have about 15-20 and not 48……

Whoops.
I guess I’ll have to double check to make SURE that those notes were deleted, so they don’t take up space (if they even do)

Ok….. Dante was acting kinda suspicious at some point, and Tella always says something about his expression tryna convey some hidden secret or something (or possible his identity).

The possibility that he/Legend gets more power by getting rid of the Fates…. I don’t like that, cuz he/Legend already has ENOUGH FRICKING POWER (and also cuz Jacks is a Fate…)

Anyways! I’m liking this book a lot more than the other one!
