This is a sweet book for book lovers, chronicling Maggie’s journey from reluctant reader to budding bookworm as she introduces a (contemporary) literature-stunted town to the wonders of fantasy, romance, and science fiction in efforts to save her best friend’s bookstore. Loving it so far!

Slow going 😭 Just made it to Part II. The concept is so interesting, but right now, the narrative is in a slow incline, with lots of jumping about between character perspectives, that I’m struggling to really lose myself in the story.
