Just gotta comment this new logo stinks. I love my job, but man I might have to get into Branding Consulting one day. Seems like easy money for little work.

“So your logo used to be ‘G’. What if we made it ‘g’?”

Many people are saying the Vatican updated their website because of my review!

Reading this on the Vatican website. I’ve said it before and now I’ll shout it out to the masses here on GoodReads, the Vatican website is so bad. I’m not saying we need a flashy website, but the color choices and fonts are really sore on the eyes. The home page of this website would confuse the heck out of me if I were not Catholic, so maybe a lil welcome message and some scripture or CCC quotes would be nice.

Crazy how they’re just letting kids whose parents work for Wizard Satan just go to school still. Perhaps there’s some anti-discrimination laws for Ministry funded institutions that would prevent that. But I digress.

“Git” is a great word we aught to add to our vernacular.

Seeing a lot of parallels between Nick Saban and Oliver Wood. Wood teaching Harry Potter the Wronski Feint is akin to Saban’s Nickel package with a linebacker-safety hybrid as the fifth DB. Angelina Johnson has big shoes to fill as Gryffindor captain. Following a legend like Wood is near impossible, as we’re seeing now with the Crimson Tide looking vulnerable as ever without Saban. Only time will tell for Johnson

Harry is constantly playing a sad song on the world’s smallest violin for himself. Getting a bit annoying. Oh well, he is like 15.

Therapy would do wonders for 95% of the characters in this book.

Always loved that the Brits called the day after Christmas Boxing Day. Wouldn’t mind seeing that tradition make its way across the pond.

Is Viktor Krum the LeBron of the Wizarding World?? Best Quidditch Seeker in the world at age 18. Dragged a group of Romanian plumbers all the way to the World Cup Final much like LeBron led the Cavs to the ‘07 Finals. Catching the Golden Snitch in a losing effort. You got to think he’ll be taking his talents to South Beach soon enough. And a Triwizard tournament appearance too?? We’re all witnesses to greatness
