There's something reassuring to discover someone you thought was a cad and a bounder turns out to be a cad and a bounder.

Tiffin...never seen the word tiffin used so much outside Carry On Up The Khyber.

This is a re-read of a series that I read a long, long, long time ago. Picked up from The Hippy Shop in Lancaster whilst I was in Lancaster. I remember them fondly. I loved the covers. Let's see how a re-read pans out.

I finished the first part, which is the victory over Grendel.

I'm not actually starting this until May 6th. 13 pages is actually the first page of text in this edition.
