I haven’t read a YA in a hot minute, struggling to get into this as it is such a different style of writing & storytelling compared to literature.

At this point I very much love this book, it is painful yet Jeanette Winterson still found a way to make it funny (having a goated sense of humor is what trauma does to people after all).
Any way, I’ve underlined many gorgeous passages already, and I am only about halfway through.
Excited for the next half :)

hoe krijg je het voor elkaar om in de eerste zes paginas al een 19 jarige met een 12 jarige naar bed te laten gaan?
