i love that he is referencing agency through identity with name changes- a ringer for me as i found i was born with a different name at 16 and also using a stage name through performance. makes me also think of agency in behavioral therapy where we inform individuals of the choices they can make and then explain the societal consequences that come up when. certain decisions are made. there is so much power in choice.
