really enjoying this so far

trying to finish this before the weekend so i can read another book i got from the library LOL

Murakami’s writing is always more approachable then i remember which makes it real easy to clear a lot of pages in one sitting. haven’t been disappointed with any of his work yet

the pro tip to get through books fast is to read when you are supposed to be paying attention in a meeting

nearing the end… my previous thoughts on this still hold true, McCarthy has a very barren sense of writing that i feel that if i read any other author who wrote like this i would fall asleep but he makes it interesting somehow

don't want to comment on the story just yet as im only 1/3 through but I do like McCarthy's style of short, few-paragraph descriptions of a scene that build to describe the setting and the atmosphere. I think it works really well here.

quite possibly the best collection of stories I have read. Really hard to put into words how much I am enjoying this book
