Currently, I have the spider man pointing meme in my head after I saw the names Buddha, Gautama, Sakyamuni, the Sublime One, all in one chapter. Jk, don’t attack me please 😂

This is the story of Buddha. Siddhartha is actually the name of Buddha before he became Buddha. Shocking! I know right?

I am surprisingly enjoying reading this one, it may be a great read as everyone said.

I am taking a time off my daily routine and the worst part is that time is moving pretty slow, especially today. I finished multiple stuff and it is still not noon yet smh

Anyway, I have moved my reading habit to the open air, but it was always at night which is when I am usually free. So, today, I decided to read with the sun and the beautiful windy weather.

This is my pick for this month's poetry.

I love the way she used words, I feel like I am reading a long poem instead of a novel.

Sylvia Plath was a poet after all. It is unique and new for me, and I love it.

The moment I left this book I started to feel how sleepy I am, but while reading it, I completely forgot how exhausted I am. It is not an easy read, it is somehow heavy, but Alan's words make my busy brain focus on his words without any trying. It easily captured my limited attention.

I must go to bed now, goodnight.... nope, stop brain, stop. I must stay awake till my bedtime, I must stay awake till my....zzzzz

Remember in school when teachers used to tell us to highlight the important stuff and then we end up highlighting the whole book. Yes, this is exactly what I am doing to this book, smh 😂

“What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul? Logic, intelligence, and reason are satisfied, but the heart goes hungry.” ~ This is my favourite so far.

What an opening, a good start.

William Styron introduced me to Albert Camus, he praised him a lot in one of his books to the point it made me interested enough to get to know him. And then, Pewdiepie blessed us with another book review video, and he also praised the book, so I knew it is the time!

So, for this month, I decided to get into French literature and read this famous quick read book as an introduction to Camus’s writings.

Even though this book is repetitive and there is nothing new about it, but I am also appreciating it for having some important reminders that I lost touch with for a while.

I decided to pick a book that is quick and easy to read to take some rest and avoid burnout; the name of the book is exactly what I need.

So, this is my pick and my last read of October.
I somehow started the month with Matt Haig, and I am going to end it with him.

I woke up at 7 on a weekend day and I was on the street around 8 and I just came back, so this is supposed to be my relaxation time, and here I am reading a book by George Orwell. I am officially crazy.

And oh yes, I broke my own rule. Another book by the same writer in the same month? say what now??

Well, that’s how much I loved Animal Farm.

Side note: the weather is perfect today, get out!

This is this month's audiobook, as always, I have the book so I can read while listening to the book at the same time. This is one of the best life hacks!

This is the same writer as The Martian. I am thrilled because I have the opportunity to read the book before an expected movie. What a chance!

If you are reading this Alyaa, thank you for your recommendation & for always being an incredible human 💛

One of the reasons why I adore weekends is because I have more time to get lost in a book without having any sense of time or, worrying about time. I have the ability to forget time.

This book is amazing. It is making me realize how precious we are, as humans.

This is my pick for this month's poetry. I have always seen quotes of Rumi's here and there, and I loved them. So, I decided to dig a little deeper and read more of him.

I feel like I am having a spiritual experience while reading this one. This is the most complex poetry I have ever read, yet the deepest.

The worst part of reading a thriller is that I have to stop and wait for the next day, sometimes days, before knowing the truth!

Well, I have a thought of what may be happening, but my thoughts are always wrong 😂

The question here is, how the person responsible for this knew about each one of them? Are they connected? That is odd.

Can't wait to know the full picture.

I felt like listening to an audiobook to rest my eyes a little, so I picked one of the top picks, and I thought it is time to look into a book by Colleen Hoover.

I don't want to judge a book before finishing it, even though I am judging it in my mind before finishing it lol. But let me wait, maybe it will surprise me.
