Okay I can’t anymore. I’m DNF’ing this one.
The writing is just not good, idk if I had rose colored glasses for her other books or it’s just that this one is dated.
I know the “twist” at the end and I was literally skimming pages. Not worth me forcing myself to finish it.

Have you ever read a book that’s physically taxing to read? That’s how I feel rn. And I’m only one chapter in.

Started the audio book. Learned Xavier is pronounced Haa-Vee-Air. Still wrapping my mind around that one.
