Riktigt bra. Typ Harry Potter men om Harry hade varit en puma och Draco en varg, Ron en bison och Hermione en ekorre.

Jag är ledsen men det här känns alltmer som en B version av Dumplin och Eleanor and Park.

Boken började bra men just nu tycker jag det är lite segt. Och det känns inte som att det är en jättebra kemi mellan huvudkaraktärerna. Lite... Smörigt och clichéaktigt.

Det enda som oroar mig är liksom att Libbys kropp blir en sån... Sensation. Typ lite som ett försök till skrämselpropaganda. Visst, det finns tjocka människor som blivit så stora att de behövts lyftas med lyftkran MEN det är liksom verkligen inte den vanliga tjocka upplevelsen. Tror jag är skeptisk pga det finns så få berättelser om tjocka och därav känslan av onödigt extremitet

Har en känsla av att jag kommer gilla den här boken enormt mycket. Alla populärkultur referenser är on point och det är lite Eleanor and Park och My mad fat diary känsla. Sen är det väl lite sad att jag suktar så efter tjocka huvudpersoner att känna igen mig i.

Who knew rereading was such a pleasure?! Previously I only ever reread Harry Potter but even that was ages ago. I have to keep doing this.

I don't know why but I can't stop picturing Will as blond. I remember doing that the first time I read this book as well. So I keep getting shocked when his black hair is mentioned. Maybe it's because he's related to Jace. Anyway it's really really good. God how I love this series.

I can't help it. I'm crushing on Will. AGAIN. But when Jem gets introduced I'm going to crush on him. And then the vicious circle has started.

Oh man it's soooo gooood being back in the Shadowhunter world again. I can tell I'm going to love this reread.

I'm trudging along. I haven't made this much progress in ages. Honestly this book is starting to bore me a bit... But I think the main reason is that I have trouble understanding everything and I keep mistaking characters for other characters.

I have been in a reading slump for like a month and I have struggled to pick up this book. But it's something about it that makes me not want to quit on it. I see myself in the future and I'm crying about Sydney Carton.

24 minuter in. Oj det här var pang på. Jag kan tycka att om det ska vara en sexscen så ska den vara rejäl. Något man iaf kan bli lite småsugen av. Det här var... Inte det. Och tänk att jag gav den här boken till en tant som absolut inte ville ha ngt sex i boken, skämskudde på den. Men också... Hur faaaan ska man veta?

It's slow going but I still like it? I think? This will probably take a entire month (or more) to read because I need to be reading slow and carefully to keep up. Because of this it's also necessary to put away a longer time for reading. Like I can't just sit down for a quick 10-15 minutes of reading. Anyhow it's waaaay better reading in english then when I tried the swedish translation two years ago.

It's interesting so far. The english is a bit over my level but it's going okay. It takes a lot of me to pick up this book though because I need so much time to read a chapter. But I get encouraged because this edition is so beautiful and I can't have it unread in my bookshelf.

Jag har en känsla av att det här kommer bli som The Ugly Truth fast I biblioteksvärlden. Inget fel med det, jag gillar Katherine Heigl.

The Ciri chapter was so freaking good. But did she just get her period after days of starvation and dehydration??? Sapkowski wtf.? Like I miss my period sometimes when I'm stressed over WORK stuff and Ciri being here bleeding from her vag for the first time after almost dying?? ? #menwritingwomen

The plot is thickening! I actually really enjoy this book now that more of the politics is explained/explored. But Sapkowski is trying way too hard to use the word "contempt" in every other sentence. It's like yes I get it I read the title of the book I don't need this much reminding.

It's a bit confusing taking a break from reading the second book in the series by watching the second Witcher game 😂. But I only have myself to blame.

Apparently Geralt have the stamina of a horse 😂 I'm a bit surprised Sapkowskis sexscenes are so freaking unsexy. He can describe tits and nipples and bottoms left and right but the act itself is just... It's that kind of sexscene where it's just philosophical ranting. Well we'll I'm not reading this for the smut. I feel like the story is finally taking form now a third of the way into book 2.
