This book is actually giving me anxiety about all the negative things that happened to me while teaching! 😬

I can definitely tell I'm getting bored listening to this. There doesn't seem to be much in the way of reflection on Kerman's part, just telling what happens on days that change the time a bit (Mother's Day, Kids-in-the-prions day, Kerman's birthday, Martha Stewart getting assigned her prison, etc.).

This is a challenging book, and any time there's world building I feel somewhat lost, but I do enjoy the characters!

So.....this sentence exists: "I’d rather look silly then be a cripple.”
